What did you see tonight? — the standing sky thread

The permanent thread for what you actually saw with your own eyes. A pass of the station, a planet you finally identified, a meteor, the Moon doing something beautiful through cheap binoculars — post it here, however ordinary it feels. Ordinary sightings are the whole hobby. If you don't know what you're looking at: open the Planetarium (/planetarium). It computes your sky for your exact spot — the dome shows what's up right now, and the pass predictor tells you when the station crosses your sky next. Clouds count too.
